What did you particularly like or dislike about this pattern: This is very versatile dress. I love sewing this type of dresses as they are so comfortable to wear and so elegant.

Conclusion: Best compliment of a patterns it’s to be able to make many variations and they don’t look the same. Bring on versions 3 , 4 etc

  • This looks great on you! So nice to see with a half-circle skirt, a modification I was considering for this pattern.

    • I think the original skirt is too tight and a loose shape is more flattering

  • I love your dress, especially your colour choice. Looks like a great in-between season option.(So far) I’ve found New Look patterns the most versatile. The one’s I’ve used have come with so many bodice, skirt and embellishing options that it would actually be HARD to make the same thing twice!

    • Indeed… i never know what version to start when they have so many options on a pattern

  • SO pretty.. Love the floral fabric. Happy sewing.
