Button back Airelle {Deer & Doe}

So, another Arielle? Yes peeps but I promise that will be the last one for a while. As I use this pattern to teach in my mind it is important that I inspire my students to explore a pattern in different ways by showing a few ideas.  This blouse has a small error on the neckline which makes a perfect show& tell. Don’t you get it better when someone shows you both right and wrong? I do.
This button-back used one of HRH shirts main fabric, with odd bits of quilting fabric. Perfect way to recycle old shirts. No button holes or hemming to do!
I made this one one size smaller than my usual and changed the sleeves by reducing them about 14 cm.
Cris is not only modelling, she is owing it. Yep, she kept it after the shoot. Glad you loved it!
I’m teaching my last class of the year and this time is a beginners class: Colette Zinnia. If you want to come, please find the details at Village Haberdashery.
