A little bit of baking & special treat for you.

A little bit of baking & special treat for you.
I have a bit of an obsession with baking, unfortunately not much made an appeared on the blog this year mainly because I been following Dukan Diet. As a progressed on this new eating program, my experimentation lead me to create a lot of heathy and delicious recipes, including my latest triumph: Lemon and Almond cake.

For those who love baking, the crown cake mould is from Wholeport, part of my monthly craft club.
That’s what else it came this month…
Because baking is best shared, I’m giving away this cookie cut-er, just share your favourite holiday recipe. Open intentionally to all my followers. Close date: Dec 7 GMT

  • How cute are those pandas!!! omg. I *think* you can use them on sandwiches for the kids too

  • My favorite baking recipe is the one I came up with for Jam-Filled Thumbprint cookies!

  • I love gingerbread cookies! I don’t have any little men’s cutters so I normally use little love hearts and conical flasks from thinkgeek 🙂 I normally just google a recipe so I don’t have one specific to share =[ but I love pandas!

I’m sorry if this is a double comment, I tried using my iPad but it won’t let me post a comment …

Anyway, my favourite recipe of all time (not just for holidays) is the Flour Bakery’s famous banana bread by Joanne Chang …
    Everyone here loves them …
Happy thanksgiving and thank you for the chance …

A lovely recipe for this time of year is chocolate chestnut torte. Ginger biscuit base. Plain chocolate and chestnut purée and some sugar mixed up and poured on top. Thinly sliced when set. Yum.

  • Hi. I’m paired with you in the ornament exchange 🙂 Unless it’s someone else with the same name, haha. Oh my gosh, those are adorable! My favourite holiday recipe is this pecan pie: http://www.vegweb.com/recipes/amazing-pecan-pie
Pecans are really expensive in South Africa and this recipe is very indulgent, so we only make it a few times a year.

  • Your cake looks delicious. My favourite holiday recipe is Christmas gingerbread: http://somewhereyonder.blogspot.co.uk/2013/12/christmas-treat-1-homemade-gingerbread.html
