Foxy sewing

Foxy sewing
Don’t you just love when an idea on your mind comes together in real live? Sewing felt is a delightful portable craft and been a while since I last shared one of my felt makes. I fall in and out of love by different crafts and is always a delight rediscovering them again. Looking around the high street there are so many foxes design that I fell maybe I was bias on my choice of animal. Foxes do have an autumn feel don’t they?

Facts:
Pattern: Self drafted. Two pockets, a needle and scissor holder on the cover.
Fabric: selection of felts in orange, dark and light brown
Time to complete: From designing to hand sewing:2 hours.
Filled with toy polyester filling.

He can also be used as a pincushion.
I didn’t intent to give him away when I was making him especially because I do love how he turned out but the deadline to make my sewing club swap project is running out and he would be a lovely gift option. What do you think?

  • This little guy is adorable! I would find him so useful – currently everything is strewn about my sewing table and I often spend minutes trying to find my scissors/pin cushion/tape measure. Will definitely be making my own version!
