I made Named Ailakki Cross Front Jumpsuit back in october last year. Named patterns really suit my style and best of all without major alterations. This is the second version of the pattern. I cannot believe both never made the blog:Prolific sewist project backlog drama- what a good soap opera title.
On a recent Ice cream trip with my best friend I asked her to take a few snaps with my phone for you. The best of summer days is that you can go out for an ice cream after 5 pm and sit outside enjoying the fresh breeze. The quality of the pictures don’t compare to those taken on my camera but those few snaps capture the moment so well. Our clothes have such a big influence on how we feel. Wearing something you are proud and feel good about it is mood lifting. Add loads of girly chatter over ice cream! What a fun day.
Pattern: size 38 made in denim with 3% stretch. Lining is left over fabric from this dress. When I’m researching a future make I look online to see what people write about patterns. I am always checking for: size and alterations and other relevant feedback. I don’t expect full pattern reviews because everyone likes to write their story their own way. The pattern is half lined which enticed me to go for a fun print. I would recommend this pattern but beware. You cannot wear this jumpsuit with a bra and you will show a bit of décolletage.
