London (re) Fashion WeekEnd Challenge- The Reveal

It only took me a few months to reveal this project but I’m delighted with the result. I will be going over all the technical changes of the leather jacket, tips how to sew leather and how I created the faux embroidery on separate posts. Spoiler alert: It took a lot of painting leather research to get the best effect but all my leg work will guide you to make your own version if you feel inspired. Taking used clothes and re-making it is a really enjoyable process and best of all, environmentally friendly.oxfamchallengereveal17

Looks fantastic love the faux embroidery. I refashioned my ripped leather jacket into a cropped, fitted waistcoat. Still have the sleeves with the plan to make a bag & you have just inspired me to think about painting on it! Looking forward to your next post😃
